Wax On Wax Off

I used to work in encaustic about 8 or so years ago.  I have started using wax again in my works, but please note for the purists, I am using different waxes and not true encaustic.  The works below are for a group show titled "Wax On Wax Off" at Visions West Gallery in Denver that opens October 15.

I really like your work and the effects achieved here. Your subject matter of animals is done in an interesting way. You are not just doing portraits of animals, you are doing them in a new way, which is always refreshing. art
